I am surprised how nice this plant is and how much I adore it! It arrived packaged very well and initially I was a bit thrown by the numbered pieces/leaves. It was no big deal, but I��d never seen that before and actually, I think it was a great idea by the manufacturer. I guess the numbering helps to place the leaves in the most realistic positions. Nonetheless, I put the leaves together by number and in the end, I was quite pleased with the resulting look of the plant. It does look very realistic for the most part.Assembling the plant does not take very long. After that is done, it is necessary to bend the leaves a bit in order to make them look realistic. I was intimidated by this at first because I thought the leaves and stems would be damaged, but there are dents on the back of the leaves and if you bend in those places, there should be no damage at all. I like that this also comes with fake moss that should be placed in the pot. It looks nice and I would love to be able to keep it there, but both my kitties decided the moss was something for them to play with and they ruined it, so I am without moss completely.I am a total fan of this faux plant. It looks great in my home and its just overall a quality product. My only complaints are (1) the numbering method and (2) the way some of the leaves fit. Re #1, I had a rough time removing the numbers off of the plant after assembling it. I didn��t want to use a knife because I didn��t want to take a chance of ruining it. Surely there is some way to add the numbers without having them so firmly attached to the plant, right? I finally removed the numbers but it took a while because I wanted to be very careful. I love this plant too much to take a chance ruining it. Re #2, Not all of the leaves fit very well into the stems. Several of them were way too loose and would fall out quite easily. I think more attention should have been paid to this during boxing, manufacturing, whatever. The stems should have been made thick enough so that they would properly fit the stems OR there should be something to add down into the stem to thicken it up so that it could handle the stem without being too loose. I put a little bit of Styrofoam into the stem to try to help with this problem. For now, I think this solution is working but for how long??? Time will tell. For now, I��m pleased though.I still love this plant quite a bit!!

The height of 5 feet is just right. Putting it indoors or in the living room will instantly enhance the indoor atmosphere. The leaves are quite complete. If you look closely, you really can't tell that they are fake. The overall look is very leafy. The 8 leaves are lush enough. It is very worry-free to put it at home. You don't have to worry about watering, sun exposure, and other trivial matters. It is a must-have for lazy people! However, the pot is a bit simple and looks a bit plastic. It is best to match it with a good-looking flower pot, so that the effect can be more advanced.

So this is a faux banana tree, as pictured, not a palm tree. (Product description needs to be updated.) It looks amazing and gives a nice touch of green to the room. Assembly was straightforward, with every branch labeled numberically. The only challenge was that the labels were the nightmare kind that shred and won't come off, so it took quite a bit of effort so I wouldn't have white bands wrapped around each stalk. But after that and some leaf bending, it looked very nice. I haven't yet dumped the moss into the base, as I worry it could make a mess if I decide to move the tree to a different corner.

This plant came well-packaged. When fully assembled, it is approximately five feet tall. The instructions are generally well-written, although they could have made it clearer that the frond stems may be bent to give the plant a more realistic look. It took us a while to determine how and just where to bend the fronds and stems. The plant looks relatively lifelike and may prove a welcome addition to some locations, such as the lanai in our home. We have no trouble rating this artificial plant at four stars.

I love my new Areca Palm. The description says it's a Bird of Paradise, but the enclosed paperwork says differently. The palm leaves look so real. Very well done. Each palm comes numbered, and each stem is numbered in the pot, so it's easy to get the right palm into the right palm stem. I just needed to bend them outward so they looked like real plants. They are very strong, so they won't break as I bend them. The worst part of putting everything together was removing the sticky white numbers on the stems. They should use a different numbering system that comes off easily. They even provided faux moss to put at the base of the plant.I put the heavy pot on the top of the vase; they recommend filling the base with sand to help kid-proof it. This is not necessary in my house now. The corner of my sunroom looks so much more outdoorsy (I'm not sure it's a word, but you get the idea). I'm happy I got this palm plant. My sunroom looks so much more like a sunroom.
