My apartment manager made me take down a very attractive privacy screen on my balcony railing, so I decided to buy eight of these to replace the screen. They are lovely, they look real, and they give me more privacy than the screen did.
These did not disappoint! Once you fluff them and put them together they are absolutely beautiful, even nicer than I expected and I'm very picky.
Very happy with these faux cedar trees. I took a picture in front of my patio door to show how dense the foilage is on the trunk. The bush looks like a real plant from a distance because they have shades of green on each branch to give it a realistic, feathery appearance. There is a thick trunk that the manufacturer has added bark texture to look authentic and the branches are individually attached to it. Unpacking was a matter of inserting the top portion into the bottom potted portion and spreading out the branches however you like. This comes with extra bags of the foilage tips in case you should need any in the future and includes a couple bags of sphagnum moss to fill the top of the pots if you want to. The pots are about 5 inches tall and feel weighted enough to stand on their own. My kitchen scales shows one tree weights 6lbs 9 oz. I will be using these on my upper deck outside with my patio furniture and will be buying some decorative pots to put them into just because I want a colorful display but they are certainly fine the way they are. High quality, great authentic look.
These look pretty realistic, I'm impressed. They are shipped in four pieces, the two bottoms in the pots, and the top pieces that slide into the bottom stem. You do have to do quite a bit of arranging and fluffing to get the topiaries to look good, and the only downside to that is that some of the stem pieces come off very easily and it's hard to find where they came from to put them back. I appreciate that these are not just branches with a stake at the bottom, I like the fact that they come in small weighted pots so you can bury them or disguise them in a larger pot, but you don't have to buy another pot if you don't want to. They're a nice height, too. I love that I can use them year round, but at Christmas I just got myself two more Christmas trees! They're nice quality, and unlike some fake evergreens I've received, they don't have a strong odor.
Trees look great and are easy to assemble. Came packaged securely as to not break the ceramic pot. These seem to stand up to the high winds and rain storms we have here in central Kansas. The verdict is still out for the UV and humidity rating as we are just getting into summer. Height and size are as stated. Looks very real and color is dead on. So far, I'd recommend.
